Squirrels!

I can not believe how fast some squirrels can be. I am a lot faster than my mother and she could catch them with relative ease. There must be more to it than just speed. Of course, back in Indiana the squirrels did not have as many trees to escape to either. My photo of the day for day 74 of Project365 is of me at the end of the chase with a really fast squirrel.

I'll Be Back

Squirrel condominium

As I have mentioned before, El Nido park is one of my favorite places to go for a walk or run. El Nido, or The Nest, has so many smells and really big trees. My picture of the day for the 62nd day of Project365 is of a neat tree that houses an untold number of squirrels. I guess it is a squirrel high-rise.

Looking For the Elevator

The Nest

There are at least three parks within walking distance of my home. The closest is very small, so I outgrew it quickly. Columbia is where we usually go, because there are many routes to take and lots of room to run around in. Today, we went to El Nido Park, which means “The Nest.” I suspect with all the trees there that there are many nests. Day 57 of Project365 is a photo of me exploring the vastness of The Nest.
